Rich Lamm pegged out last night, and the USA team formed a huddle beside Lawn 2 – all high fives and air punches. Right now, the Americans can do no wrong. They’ve arrived as underdogs, and any match wins are a bonus. The Brits come with high expectations, and have just one more day to meet those expectations. Read individual game commentaries here.

The Lawn is set for Monday nights, Tuesdays and Thursdays in a North South arrangement with the South boundary at the South ditch.
The six wicket Lawn runs East West with the East boundary being six feet from the South ditch.

3rd Annual Rocky Mountain International Open Croquet tournament
No “Sextuple Peel’s” during the 3rd Annual Rocky Mountain International Open Croquet tournament (20-May - 23-May), but Ben Rothman made four close attempts on his way to winning the tournament with a one - two win ( +4 - +25 TP ) in best of three against second place finisher Paul Bennett. Rothman succeed in his third Rocky Mountain International Open to win his share of the $2,400 purse. He stated his intention to return next year to win it all including the doubled ($400.00) Sextuple prize. The $200.00 “Blauvelt prize” for the most triple peels was a three way split with Ben Rothman, Paul Bennett and Denver’s own Rich Lamm. Rich Lamm of the Denver Croquet Club assembled one of the strongest croquet tournament fields for this tournament including members of the “Soloman Trophy” winning team, Jim Bast, Jeff Soo and Ben Rothman. Also playing in the tournament were members of the USA 2010 MacRobertson Shield Team, : Ben Rothman of California, Jeff Soo of North Carolina, Rich Lamm of Colorado, Jim Bast of Texas and Alternates in order:, Paul Bennett of Arizona, Paul Billings of Colorado.
Croquet in the Park
The Denver Croquet Club and The Alzheimer’s Association Colorado Chapter present Croquet in the Park for person's with Dementia and their care providers.
Activities will be weekly running through September on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 AM.

The Club meets on Monday evenings at 6:00 PM on the Lawn in Washington Park from April through September
For the Monday night games the club plays the USCA rules of Golf Croquet. This is a game that is quick to learn, minutes not hours, and provides an fun social outing It quickly becomes as competitive as your back yard game was. Members bring food and beverage to share between and after games
The Club plays all of the 6 Wicket Croquet games as ruled by the United States Croquet Association promoting the sport of croquet in America.

The World Croquet Federation co-ordinating body for croquet. Site includes past and future world croquet championships, news and directory of member associations.
In 2010 the club will begin play of the USCA 9 Wicket Croquet, that which most have played growing up, but with real rules.
